She’s been a part of the “Today” show crew for a few years now, and now Savannah Guthrie has moved to the head of the class.

The beautiful television personality began her first day as co-anchor alongside Matt Lauer this morning (July 9) and she was all smiles.

Guthrie replaces Ann Curry who was let go last week, in hopes that she can help “Today” regain the top spot on the morning show circuit.
